Blissful
Disagreements™
Disagreements are crucial in building stronger relationships. Discover the freedom of engaging in ‘Blissful Disagreements’. The beauty of Blissful Disagreements is that regardless of the outcome - all parties feel satisfied. We are living in an era of rapid and instant global communications. The ability to clearly interact with others without creating division or separation is the goal of Blissful Disagreements. We have observed the benefit of freeing ourself from old unproductive patterns of communication by choosing a conscious alternative!
In our relationship work we have come to know the importance of:
1. Knowing our Relationship Style
2. Awareness of the 4 Stages of Relationships
3. Training in Conscious Conversations
4. Navigating with a Relationship Map
5. Understanding the difference between:
- The Situation
- The Story about the Situation
- The Activation or Deactivation of an Issue
6. Practicing with a Magical Mirror
We believe that by knowing how to navigate the emotional landscape experienced while in relationship we are capable of more intimate and fulfilling inteactions with our Self and others. We know the importance of being in conversations with others whether they agree with us or not!
Our formula for performing a Blissful Disagreement is:
1 Situation
+ 2 or more Stories
+ Disagreement
+ A Conscious Conversation
+ Issue Deactivation
= An Unifying & Uplifting Experience that we have named a Blissful Disagreement.
We have been developing these concepts within our own marriage and with thousands of students, clients and workshop particants over the past 36 years. We are excited to
present this chapter of our
upcoming 'Enlightening
Relationships' book with others whenever possible. As
workshop presenters we
emphasize direct experience
and practical application.
There is always an abundance
of laughter, plenty of group interaction,
and numerous opportunities to immediately try out our ideas in all
the various relationships in our life.
(PS: If you “Disagree” with
our premise . . . well,
you really do need to
join us!)
